We have people in their 80s coming and we have babies coming.
Please make sure you don’t have any underlying health concerns.
We want to keep you healthy.
But do come. YOU ARE WELCOME!!

I’ve been a pastor long enough to realize that ministry certainly looks better now. One thing I have become really clear on, church services are nice, but they aren’t necessary. Many of you have found that out over the last few months? However, It feels like Amos is correct today:

Amos 8:11 (NIV)
11 “The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign LORD,
“when I will send a famine through the land—
not a famine of food or a thirst for water,
but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD.

There is a famine in the land. A famine for the word of God. This is the basis of my sermon this weekend.

Check out the new App for our church. It gives up-to-date information from our webpage, our calendar, our database. You can sign up to help in the outreach event for the fall, or you can join a Community Group. You can download the app from our webpage atwww.AdventistCommunity.church and then simply log in with the church name (remember, it’s the Adventist Community Church).

Go to the new website at https://www.adventistcommunity.church and at the bottom of the front page you will find links to download the app for your Android or iPhone. This will allow you to get quick and easy access to many things like our weekly calendar, our Facebook page, etc. It’s always a good idea to have easy ways to stay connected and get church news, especially right now!

Since we aren’t “passing the plate” at church these days, here are some other options for your giving.

We’ve also added the ability to give viaVenmo or Paypal by searching “@AdventistCC“. Finally, we have giving kiosks where you can give with all major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay as well.

If you are already giving via the Adventist giving site, we want to encourage you to keep using that, andPLEASE don’t go into debt to give to your church. But thank you for your support.
