From Pastor Roger…
We are headed into the final stretch for the meetings.
This seminar has been (dare I say it?) unprecedented! Yes, that word has been used a lot in 2020. Here’s why I’m willing to use it here…We had a smaller response than we normally get from our brochures – about half of what we usually get. We had a larger than normal drop after opening night. But we’ve had virtually no drop in guest attendance at the seminar since. That’s unprecedented. Brian McMahon has held the crowd with the power of the Holy Spirit and we are ending up with a very positive end product. Hallelujah!
If you want to be part of the follow-up by participating in, or leading out in, a Community Group for these new people – either online or in a home – please let Pastor Ryan know (ryan@AdventistCommunity.church) or call the church office at (360) 696-2511. We are also planning on doing some follow-up classes and would like to invite you to those. Stay tuned as to when those will happen.
God has continued to lead this congregation in ways to reach out to our community. We have reached out with The Center, where we give food and clothing away. We’ve reached out with God’s Closet, Healthy Cooking Classes, Prophecy Seminars, letting the community use our facility, helping people in crisis, helping the homeless, etc. This church truly does believe in Reaching OUT. God has called us to this, let’s continue to be faithful to that calling.

Come join CAA online, November 19, at 6:00pm, for our Annual Thanksgiving Worthy Student Fundraising Event. This year’s theme is “The Unmaskquerade.”
Featured will be a devotion with our Chaplain, Aaron Payne, and friends, entertainment with returning guest singer and song writer, Tad Worku and friends, and keynote speaker, Diana Irias from the class of ’15.
This year we have good news and bad news. The bad news is that Covid has dictated both a greater need for financial support and that the event will be online for the first time since it began in 2008. The God news is that we have $130,000 to match and, since it’s online, we will have unlimited seating for you.
There are two ways to join; You may be invited by one of our table captains or you can RSVP by calling Tami Congleton at the school office (360.687.3161) or emailing her at tami.congleton@caaschool.org. We hope and pray that we see you there and that you experience the power of unmasking.
If you have a prayer request, email it to office@adventistcommunity.church – please indicate if you want it to be private for our prayer group, or if you would like it included here in the weekly newsletter for the whole church to pray for you.
Church Finances
You can bring your offerings to the church, or mail them (address at bottom). You can also go to the Adventist Giving Site to give – click here. We’ve also added the ability to give via Venmoor Paypal by searching “@AdventistCC“. Finally, we have giving kiosks where you can give with all major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay as well.
If you are already giving via the Adventist giving site, we want to encourage you to keep using that. Thank you for your support.
