From Pastor Roger…

First, let’s just remind you that Brian McMahon is coming on Saturday night for the Start of the Prophecy Unsealed conference. I hope you are planning on coming and bringing a friend. We are having an organizational meeting on Thursday at 6:30pm for those who will be volunteering. If you are volunteering, it would be helpful if you could come. Please share the pictures of the brochure (see above) on your social media feed or email it out to friends and family and neighbors.

Second, our 6:00am morning prayer call has been so effective, we are starting another one! This one begins on November 1 and will be at 7:00am. The phone number for this new prayer call will be different: 360-552-7004. You will be blessed if you join either the 6:00am or the 7:00am prayer call.

This has been a very strange and hard year. For everyone.
Your pastors are not immune. Yet they have worked hard to find new ways to continue leading this church during something none of us has ever experienced.

THIS MONTH, it’s our chance to say “Thank You” for all they have done, are doing, and will continue to do for our church family.

This letter was shared with the pastors in front of the church family on Sabbath, and we are sharing it with you here now:

October is officially Pastor Appreciation Month! And we want all of you to know how much we appreciate and, might we add, love you. We are so blessed as a church with our pastoral staff.

This has been an unusual year to say the least! But you have led us through it and for that we are thankful. How can we say “thank you” for all you have done? Our gift will arrive at each of your homes in November, then again in December, and in January and monthly for a full year! This way you will be reminded monthly of how much we care for and love you.

You may have already guessed by now that we have enrolled each family in Harry and David’s Fruit of the Month Club! We hope you will enjoy the delicious variety of fruits that will be delivered directly to you at home! Please know that along with these gifts we are sending our prayers and asking God to bless your sweet families. We are committed as a church to support you and pray for you.

Thank you again for all you do for our church family.

WARM COATS NEEDED

The Center needs coats so they will be available for the homeless they serve this winter. If you have extras, please consider bringing them to the church to donate!

MGAES is selling payback books, $20 each. They are available to pick up at the school. Just call ahead of time 360-687-5121. Or you can order on-line at www.paybackbook.com and have it mailed to your house. Be sure to find Meadow Glade Elementary when you order. The school gets 50% back for every book purchased.

Church Finances

You can bring your offerings to the church, or mail them (address at bottom). You can also go to the Adventist Giving Site to give – click here. We’ve also added the ability to give via Venmo or Paypal by searching “@AdventistCC“. Finally, we have giving kiosks where you can give with all major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay as well.
