WE WANT TO SEE YOU!
Join us Sabbath, September 19:
Family Service at 9:45am
Worship Service at 11:15am
From Pastor Roger…
We prayed. We set out the agenda. We knew God was leading us to do a major REACH-OUT with Bible Studies this fall. We hoped we would get 30-50 people to show up for the training. On Friday of last week we had 32 people signed up. On Sabbath, at the training, over 60 people came out, listened and signed up for the training. Praise the Lord!
God is on the move! He’s got something going on here that we are in the midst of praying through. Our 40 Days of Prayer ends on October 1. We really need to keep praying for our nation. We need to pray for our city. We need to pray for our community. We need to pray for ourselves.
We are praying for the Holy Spirit to cover us and cover our community so people will be open to the gospel, open to receiving Bible studies, and open to our fall evangelism. Please keep praying.
God is on the move! I just want to work with Him where He is.
I love being your pastor!Roger Walter, DMin Lead Pastor Adventist Community Church of Vancouver

Pathfinders is starting up this week!
We will be having our first meeting and registration on Thursday, September 17.
We will start at 6:40pm and end at 8:00pm.
The Pathfinder Club is open to all children from 10 to 16 years old.
This year our club will be meeting at the church on Thursday evenings, plus we will be doing an activity once a month on the weekends.
Those who would like to join the club can contact me: pathfinders@adventistcommunity.church
Adventurer Club, for kids ages 4-9, will be starting soon with an Adventurer Club Registration Event!
Come join us Sabbath, September 26, from 4:00-5:00pm in the Adventist Community Church Fellowship Hall. This will be a come-and-go event. We look forward to seeing you there!
Please bring a white t-shirt for your Adventurer as we will be making tie die shirts to wear for club meetings this year. T-shirts can be provided for Adventurer kids if you contact the club directors in advance. Other family members are welcome to bring their own shirts to join in the fun!
Due to Covid-19 contact restrictions, Adventurer Club will be a little different this year. We will be hosting a family style club meeting once a month. A minimum of one family/designated adult will need to attend and participate with their child for the full club meeting. We look forward to this opportunity!
We plan to meet at the church first or second Sabbaths of the month, 2:00-3:30pm. Our first regular club meeting will be October 3. We will complete one award at this group meeting and one award will be prepared for kids to complete at home. Club dues will be $10 total for Oct-Dec and $10 total for Jan-May.
If you have questions please email Hailu and Clair Gabriel at adventurers@adventistcommunity.church
We look forward to hearing from you!
