From Pastor Roger…
Miracles sometimes come in such a gradual way that we simply don’t recognize them sometimes. Right now, we are facing a miracle for this fall’s major REACH-OUT. We thought we wouldn’t do a regular fall evangelistic seminar and we headed towards taking care of doing online and mail-in Bible studies. But then, things began to fall into place for us to pull together a live evangelistic seminar in a matter of 6 weeks.
That’s why we’ve been praying for our nation. That’s why we’ve been praying for our community. We are in the middle of 40 Days of Prayer, to seek the Holy Spirit, to seek forgiveness, to pray for the people around us, to pray for our nation. Please keep praying that God will do mighty miracles in the midst of all this turmoil.
We are still looking for help with the seminar, and with giving Bible studies. The training for the Bible studies is this Sabbath (Sept. 12) at 2:00pm. We are going to eat our own lunch in the parking lot (no potlucks) and then meet at 2:00pm in the fireside chapel for training – 2 hours or less. You can still come, but it would be helpful if you would pre-register here. https://adventistcc.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/115/responses/new. We will be having some from the Orchards church joining us for this major outreach, as well.
We are also looking to raise enough money to do both of these major outreaches. We will have a need of about $25-35,000 to make this happen. If you want to support this financially, you can go to this link and choose an option to give: https://www.adventistcommunity.church/giving/
Finally, if you haven’t downloaded the smartphone app yet, go to our website homepage and go to the bottom to download the app. You will be able to view the calendar, the Pastor’s Blog, and many other things. http://www.AdventistCommunity.church
