On Hold at this time
God’s Closet is a ministry that engages Seventh-day Adventist churches throughout North America in services to their communities. The basis of this service ministry consists of a donation network whereby individuals, families and businesses are invited to donate gently used and new children’s clothing at any time throughout the year to God’s Closet. Then, one day per quarter God’s Closet will open for parents and guardians of children to come ‘shop’ free of charge, with the exception of a small admission fee – usually $1.00, from our selection of donated supplies.
Reaching out to our youngest needs is an important part of our outreach ministry. Hundreds of people throughout Clark County come to get clothing for their children. As a church, we ask the question, “if our church disappeared, would our community even notice”? Not only do we want to spread God’s word through words, we want to share it through our care and efforts. This is a group effort by the community for the community. Many people outside the church volunteers their time, so they can be part of a ministry that helps many families.
Our Next God's Closet: We are currently in a holding pattern due to leadership and volunteer support. Please check back for more information or contact the church office.
