There are a variety of ways to respond to the Pandemic. Really. You can simply ignore it, fear it, or fight it. Some people refuse to wear masks. Others have just given up and do whatever they are told until this all goes away. If you haven’t heard, this may be another year or more in the making….
But did you know that when there is a crisis, transition, or the like, people are a lot more open to the gospel? That’s right. Right now, partly because of the pandemic, people are searching for answers like never before. Look at these numbers: Google searches for “Second Coming” or “End of the World” are up 5 times higher than their former peak ever was before. People really want answers.

Yet, if it’s true that people are more open to the gospel and to biblical truth, should we take advantage of it?
It is when the unbelieving cast contempt upon the Word of God that the faithful Calebs are called for. It is then that they will stand firm at the post of duty, without parade, and without swerving because of reproach. The unbelieving spies stood ready to destroy Caleb. He saw the stones in the hands of those who had brought a false report, but this did not deter him; he had a message, and he would bear it. We’ve got a very good way to do that. We’re about to launch a bunch of advertising on our community asking if people would like to study the Bible online or via mail.
