Such an Army of Youth

We want them to act a part in well-organized plans for helping other youth. there is much to be said about an army of youth. Our denomination was started by teenagers – John Loughborough, John Andrews, Ellen White, and many more. Why?

Why? Because the youth have energy, are still idealistic, and have courage to face the battles because they have never been shot down before. Over time, adults get beat back by life and sometimes quit taking the hills in front of them. Adults have been told no too many times. Youth don’t care if you tell them no! They are going to do what God calls them to do regardless of what it costs!

We have a growing army of youth in our church who have taken on a HUGE project. They want to run the evangelistic seminar we are planning in April and early May. They will be the speakers, the greeters, the MC’s, the registration people and the video team. They are going to move forward and make this happen.

Don’t worry, there will be plenty of adults with experience guiding them along the way and maybe even taking part now and then with some of the speaking, or some of the process in getting ready.

I can’t wait to see what God is doing. There is a huge movement happening in the prayer groups at 6am and 7am praying for this, there is a growing sense that these kids will bring something positive to this process and we are all praying for the Holy Spirit to reign in our lives and our community here for this event.
